A Retro Survival Crafting RPG

Stravaeger (formerly Valtima IV) is a retro role playing game in the style of the early Ultima series, incorporating survival and crafting gameplay from modern games such as Valheim.

You'll embark into a huge open world full of scenery to explore, enemies to fight, and resources to gather. You'll find towns full of NPCs with valuable information to forward your quest. You'll stumble across vast underground dungeons and cave systems full of danger and reward.

You'll craft better gear from the things you find in the world. You'll build bases to keep safe from the perils of the world, store your belongings, cook food, and spend the night in the comfort of your warm bed.

• Explore

  A vast, beautiful, procedurally generated world awaits you, with hand crafted scenery, structures, towns, cities and castles. Boats, portals, mounts and flying creatures can help speed you to every corner of it.

• Craft

  Collect the resources you find in the environment and from the creatures that you overcome. Use those to craft better gear to stay alive and thrive in the world.

• Survive

  Food, rest, shelter and comfort are vital to your survival in this world. You'll never die of hunger or fatigue, but hunger and fatigue will quickly lead to your death.

• Battle

  The world is a dangerous place. Combat is as much about what you have as how good you are, so you'll want the best weapons, armor and food you can get your hands on.

• Build

  Carve out your own corner of the world and make it your own. Every structural piece in the game can be crafted with the right tools and resources. A good solid base is important.

• Relax

  Cities and towns offer Sanctuary, where combat and destruction are forbidden. Stop by the pub for a pint, and strike up a conversation with the locals. They'll point you in the right direction.
